My Book Turned ONE! Exclusive Peak of What’s Inside

This month my first solo book, Confessions of a People Pleaser, turned ONE!

It's hard to explain just how powerful it is to have a childhood dream of mine come true. For as long as I can remember my creative outlet has been through writing.

I’ve always been enamored by how words can give voice to the deepest parts of our soul. As a child, I would spend hours lost in books, fascinated by how an author could transport me to a different world, and introduce me to characters whose joys and sorrows felt so real. I dreamed of one day creating my own stories that might resonate with others in the same profound way.

When I finally held Confessions of a People Pleaser in my hands, it was more than a book. It was the culmination of years of holding tight to a dream, hard work, and self-discovery.

Confessions of a People Pleaser is the book I wish I had during the most challenging periods of my life. It's a life-raft, a guidebook, and a heartfelt journey through the consequences of following the rules and playing small. Spoiler alert – it led me to a life filled with anxiety and guilt. But that’s not where the story ends.

In this book, I open up about my transition from being anxious, overwhelmed, and a chronic people pleaser to finding peace, purpose, and living life on my own terms. It’s not just about the struggles; it's about the triumphs and the transformative power of self-acceptance and authenticity.

Writing this book was cathartic. It was a way to process my experiences and, more importantly, to offer hope and guidance to others who might be walking the same path. If you’ve ever felt the pressure to please everyone at the cost of your own happiness, this book is for you. It's a testament to the strength it takes to break free from those chains and the joy that comes from living authentically.

As I celebrate this one-year anniversary, I am immensely grateful for the readers who have embraced my story, for the conversations it has sparked, and for the community that has grown around it. Your support and shared experiences have been incredibly inspiring.

I believe that sharing our stories allows others to feel less alone. We are all more similar than we understand.
